Please give money. Our friend and colleague, Gov. Bob McDonnell, a loyal and trusted civil servant, needs money to defend his pristine reputation against accusations that he accepted gifts from Star Scientific and didn’t report them on his annually financial disclosure statement, friends of Bob say.
It must have been an oversight, Gov. Bob’s friends say.
Gov. Bob, his friends say, needs money to defend his innocence against the thought police of the Obama administration, the US Dept. of Justice.
Please, please, give to the Restoration Fund, a legal defense fund, so he can pay lawyers $500 to $1,000 an hour to give him out of this mess. Ironic, then that two lawyers from Virginia Beach, Stanley Baldwin and Jason Miyares, are setting up the restoration fund for Bob.
If they are so altruistic, they should defend Gov, Bob for free.
